Dear Rose and the rest of the band,

How can I thank you enough for a great afternoon of Blue Grass music? I was hoping my relatives would get up off their chairs and kick up their heels a bit, but they all did love just sitting on a lovely summer afternoon and talking and listening to you play. It doesn't get much better than that in life. It really is a dream come true for me. For many years, Don and I lived on East Coast away from the family, so it is with great joy that we can now gather with family on this old farm and have such a great day together. What a gift! Your band added so much to the atmosphere of the day. I always regret I can't sit in one of those Adirondack chairs and JUST listen to you play for three hours. I do want you to know, just how very happy you made ME and all of us with your music. I do not exaggerate when I say this. I am not sure the family would all come to the annual "Aunt Julie picnic" if you all were not playing! They pretty much all got up and left when you stopped playing!

So a huge thank you to each and every one of you. I don't think I can have another picnic without you.
